Impact of educational psychology in teaching; Educational psychology is an integral part of any form of learning as it allows the teachers to understand the fundamental laws, theories and principles of the educational process and how they can control it.

Educational psychology is the study of how people learn, including teaching methods, instructional processes, and individual differences in learning. The goal is to understand how people learn and retain information.

This branch of psychology involves the learning process of early childhood and adolescence, but also the social, emotional, and cognitive processes that are involved in learning throughout the entire lifespan.

The field of educational psychology incorporates a number of other disciplines, including developmental psychology, behavioral psychology, and cognitive psychology.

Here are some of the positive impact of educational psychology in teaching;

1. It aids the learning process:
Educational psychology is mainly concerned about the various aspects of the human growth and development and this is not limited to only the physical growth, it also includes the emotional and cognitive growth of learners. The proper study and understanding of how different learners learn and grow makes it easier for the teachers to know each learners strengths and weaknesses and how they can assimilate well to perform better in the classroom this will also aid and positively improve the learning process.

2. It improves the teachers teaching skills:
A good teacher must understand the various ways through which students can be properly taught in the classroom. Educational psychology exposes teachers to the theories, skills and principles that will enable them to work on their personal knowledge and skills such that they can also become better teachers to their students.

3. It makes teaching more rewarding:
The use of psychological concepts, theories and principles makes teaching more rewarding as both the teachers and students can work based on psychological facts that are scientifically proven without any form of misconceptions. Once the teachers already understand how the students learn,it makes it easier for them to teach without going through too much stress thus making the teaching process more rewarding for the them.
